Elegant! This render looks as though it contains a beautiful moth. I love that this flame is almost completely greyscale except for that bit of purple in the center. Great work! :aww:

Thanks! I think you've hit on one those unwritten rules of when to hold back on colour  Often it happens more by instinct...

 I had to use my ';patented' anti-aliasing method to reduce 'jaggies', then sharpen to restore the detail :D

Yes, I can go with that  Sunning itself on a branch over a pond... I'm yearning for a bit of summer as the last 4 weeks here have been positively Biblical in the rain department :|

very nice! This has an almost solid look, keeps the feel of transparency while not looking quite as gauzy as most. If that makes sense ;)

It does! A semi-transparent shower curtain as opposed to the flimsiest, filmsiest muslin :D

You mean the sort of shower curtain which makes all showers last three times as long because you spend more time unwrapping it from yourself than you do actually washing! ;)

Now that has unavoidable Hitchcockian associations  I favour a heavier-duty model myself... :D

And I prefer screens to curtains ;) Though I don't think that's for slash-prevention reasons :D
