A small fragment of the forbidden treatise 'The Logonomicon', written in a largely forgotten Arabic script. This book, for those few who can read it, deals with a methodology for unleashing the full power of the written word. It causes disruption of the mental faculties via a surge of multiplicity of choice. The Master gains unbridled power; the Fool loses the last vestige of sanity.

Created especially for the wonderful club *lostbooks, the fragment in Microsoft Word :O, aged in PhotoFiltre and fed through `JoelFaber's Apophysis hack. Lovecraft fans will understand the references ;)

I did not know this history, but he is well interesting. It's a history imagined concerning an imagined history… With this history, one another history could be imagined… :-)
And, if I understood well, I find that he is this that you are to make… ;-)

Exactly! Lovecraft developed what is now called his 'Mythos' purely to provide a basis for his own material, but then other writers picked up on it and it grew to the extent that there exists a virtual Miskatonic University! So I have transposed his 'Book of the Dead' to my 'Book of the Word' - where will it lead? :D

The word can kill… The Monthy Python has a joke called “murderous joke”, you knows this? It is clearly that this is only mood, but in the truth, the words can be deadly weapons. If the people understood what they can make to the others (for example to the neighbors) when say badly of them, to only make colloquy, then they understood the meaning of the expression “murderous word”. But these linkings between the words and the images, interest also me of other forms for my artistic work. Therefore, I am curious to know the result of your investigation. E I find that also I go to investigate more things of these.

Must admit that I don't know of the "murderous joke", but my Python knowledge is a little sketchy...

It is on a joke that kills all the people who to read, even though the author of it. The share is transferred at the time of the World War II, and then the English had used the translated joke to kill Germans. But it had of being translated by many people, each one of them, translated a word. It had a person that she read two words and she was sick. I remembered this, because of what you say in the commentary that explains your photo… This project can take you it madness… You have care with this!
