I don't automatically respond to tags. But I've seen this one around a while, and have been nudged by *VonCrowd. Since it's not one of those inane zillion-question jobs that require the participant, at around the #43 mark, to reveal the colour of the object on their left right now, I am moved to consider its completion... but strictly on my terms. No rules, and a mixture of facts, crazy anecdotes from my life, and random musings.

1. I lived in a caravan (trailer for U.S. readers) for nearly 16 years. We had to fetch water in buckets.
2. I once missed having my face shredded by a margin of 10 seconds when I was dragged away from a hissing glass bottle full of chemical waste that promptly exploded.
3. On two separate occasions, I 'broke into' my old university halls of residence and slept in my old bathroom (out of term time) in order to avoid paying for overnight accommodation in London.
4. I have experienced momentary identification with an immeasurably higher state of being. If I were so inclined, I would say that I have 'been God'.
5. Sleep doesn't come easy for me. But waking does...
6. Through random inquisitiveness, I bought a book on Chaos Theory. Through that book, I discovered the beauty of fractals. A random internet search for fractal software led me to fractal art. Immersion in the subject has convinced me that the imposition of external order on natural chaos is one of the fundamental 'wrongs' in human outlook. The natural order arising spontaneously from non-linear dynamical systems is 'where it's at'. The wheel, I fancy, has come full circle.
7. I am passionate about olives. I could live off them, along with fresh bread and ice-cold Manzanilla sherry, or red wine.
8. As the conductor to the orchestra, so I tentatively set myself to the information 'out there'. Gather, blend, clip, squeeze, order, limit. I confess my feeds geekery.
